What Is PT-141 (Bremelanotide)?

PT-141 — the research name for bremelanotide — is a synthetic peptide that activates melanocortin receptors in the brain, particularly the MC4 receptor. • Blood pressure and heart rate: Bremelanotide causes a transient increase in blood pressure.
